Vertical roller mill is a kind of grinding machine for cement raw material, cement clinker, slag and coal slag. It has the features of simple structure, low cost of manufacture and use. This machine has many different forms, but it works basically the same.

The vertical roller mill has been widely used and promoted in the electric power, metallurgy, chemical industry, non-metal industry because the overall efficiency attributed to energy-saving and low consumption is becoming more and more evident in the cement industry.

It has two pairs of grinding rollers, each pair of roller composed of two narrow rollers, mounted on the same axis and can rotate at different speeds. There are two circular disc slot and roller to the tire shape, work pressure in the tank. All of these forms of machine come with a roller along the track of the disc at the level of circular movement imposed by external grinding roller in the vertical pressure on the disc on the material being the joint action of compression and shear and to crush.

When it works, raw materials are fed in evenly by the feeder at the bottom of the hopper, then lifted to appropriate height by the bucket elevator.
