Centrifugal compressors are designed for the pressure requirement less than rotating piston blower which means up to 500 mb. and higher than fans, flowrate is max. 15 m3/min.
Basic elements of machine are impeller, housing and motor. The impeller and housing are made of a high strength aluminium alloy. In some cases housing can be made of cast iron.
The significant properties of these machines are that very simple design, direct coupling drive, very low noise issue, lubrication-free operation, light weight, versatile mounting. Due to all these properties, it can be used in various industries.
